Technical Compute Farms In areas such as high throughput molecular screening technical compute farms based on Intel Xeon processors are seen as a viable alternative to large Unix servers. Abtech have designed and implemented these for many of our customers. Compute farms allow a large number of calculations to be performed quickly using sophistication job scheduling software. We will also be offering Compute Farms based on the new Itanium 2 processor for the ultimate in performance. Most Compute Farms are based on Red Hat Linux, but we are able to offer solutions from other Linux vendors.
